How To Advertise Your Business On Google For Free

It’s common information that you can promote your business for free using social media platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp TV, etc.

How about I tell you that there’s a way you can freely advertise your business on Google, for free?

In this post, I’ll show you how you can make your business appear on Google’s SERP without paying by creating a business profile.

Take note of the following:

  • Google – Google is a search engine where people go to ask questions. Google answers question by listing websites/blogs that have content related to questions asked on the SERP.
  • SERP (Search Engine Result Page) – If you search something on Google, the page that lists the result of your search is known as SERP. SERP is where your business will appear after listing.
  • Listing – This is you telling Google, ‘Oh, I have a business and I want you to display it on SERP whenever people search for what I sell or offer’. When somebody searches for something related to the product or service your business offers, Google will then display your business on the search result page.

Pay attention as I walk you through the step by step process of listing your business on Google search and map for free.

Firstly, you must be logged in into your Google account for you to create a profile for your business.

After you’ve logged in into the account, visit https://business.google.com/create.

On this page, search for your business name.

Note: If your business appears to be registered by someone else, check the Frequently Asked Questions section of this post to resolve.
